Business Process Improvement Specialist supports efforts by leading, participating, and supporting projects to reduce waste and increase value.
Key Accountability
•Drive process improvement projects through the application of continuous improvement concepts to business processes including
•Assist in the prioritization, analysis, documentation, and reporting on process improvement results
•Assist in the evaluation and maintenance of tools used for project and task management, knowledge sharing, and collaboration
•Scope includes process improvement within a Finance and Accounting function as well as with processes in other functions that supply inputs to Finance and Accounting processes

Education & Experience

•Bachelor's Degree (preferably Finance or Accounting), MBA a plus
•2-5 years experience
•Training in Continuous Improvement approaches to business process improvement
•Successful experience driving Finance & Accounting process improvement
Language Skills
•Position requires strong verbal & written communication skills including the ability to communicate well with all levels of management as well as across various disciplines
Technical Skills
•Training and experience with Lean philosophy and application
•Strong PC skills including a Microsoft Excel including pivot table, advanced formulas, etc.
•Knowledge of accounting systems, business analysis, and reporting tools
Mathematical Skills
•Intermediate mathematical skills in statistics, probability, predictive analytics
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
•Process Improvement certification such as Bronze Lean certification a plus
•CPA or CMA a plus.
