Band level: 3T
Department: Information Systems
Location: QTU, Autostrada TR-Durres. Km.7

Summary: Applications Support Specialist is part of the Information Systems Department in Balfin Group. He/she provides application maintenance and support to the companies in Balfin Group for the business applications used, investigates problems with software applications, diagnoses root causes, and works on fixing them. He/she also is involved on the development, integration, and configuration of business applications used in our organization. Applications Development Specialist is also responsible for identifying known errors and problems and for finding permanent solutions for these problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administrating and Configuring ERP/POS Software.
• Users profile administration for Business Applications.
• Testing of new developments or changes in Systems used by Balfin Group Companies
• Involved in ERP implementations in Balfin Group Companies
• Troubleshooting and casual fixes
• Assist and support Business Application Manager in all projects and daily work/problems
• Mobile devices configuration for casual inventories.
• Provide telephone, in-person and online support to end-users
• User support and training
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in similar positions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, managing and querying.
• Previous experience with implementing new software and administrating systems is an advantage.
• Good understanding of operating systems, computers, and applications software.
• Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly.
• Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas.
• Organisational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Good knowledge of English Language.
• Willing to work with shifts.
