The Database Developer Specialist is responsible for designing, coding and modifying existing or new systems based on requirements. He /She works with consultants and other members of the company to improve processes. It will also modify and maintain software programs and prepare relevant documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
• Work with the software analyst, developer, system analyst, sales and marketing, finance department or other users for analyzing and implementing functional requirements needed by the business.
• Analyzing and designing the software based on user requirements, review of the software, integration of new software with existing ones, risk analysis system etc.
• Analyze the performance of programs and take decisions on potential adjustments, based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
• Assistance, train, guide and transfer knowledge to staff and other team members regarding programming software.
Skills & Qualifications:
• University Degree in Computer Sciences or relevant fields.
• 3-5 years’ experience in designing and building application.
• Very strong understanding of database structures, relational or multidimensional (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience in SAP ERP.
• Very good knowledge and experience of Web Services , PHP , XML , Java Script, Web Services and other application development technologies.
• Good knowledge in problem solving and good communication skills while working with tight deadlines and respecting quality procedures.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
