Position Title: Project Manager
The Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania (SHUKALB) has received financing from the International Association of Water Utilities in the Danube Region (IAWD), under the Danube Water Program, toward the cost of implementing the project “Developing a Utility Management Training Program Curricula Framework for the Water Supply and Wastewater Utility Managers in the Danube Region”.
SHUKALB intends to apply part of the proceeds for the position of a Project Manager to oversee and manage the project. This is a part time position (between 50% and 75% of a normal work week) with duration of approximately eight months. This position reports to the Project Director. The general tasks to be covered by the Project Manager are:
· Implementation of the Project according to the project proposal, schedule and budget ensuring that project deliverables fulfill quality, deadline, and are within the foreseen budget;
· Identification and engagement of water sector professionals and academics to serve as part of the Expert Advisory Committee and/ or as Subject Matter Experts, during the development of the Training Program Curricula.
The interested applicant should demonstrate:
· Background and experience related to training development and delivery;
· Excellent command, written and spoken, of both Albanian and English;
· Experience in project management or project coordination;
· General awareness and understanding of functioning and structure of water and wastewater utilities;
· Ability to use Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in undertaking this assignment.
