Purpose of Position
Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources
Main Tasks
· Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violation
· Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
· Every day follow up of SIEM platform, improve and update respective audit rules.
· Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
· Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
· Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
· Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills
· Good Commands on Linux Based Systems, Knowledge on DB (SQL, Oracle, MySQL) and Knowledge on Programming Languages (PHP, Java, Java Script).Very good communication and negotiating skills
· System Administration, Network Security, Information Security Policies, Network Troubleshooting, Firewall Administration, Network Protocols, Routers, Hubs, and Switches.
· Very good knowledge of English
· Good communication & listening skills, Problem-solving.
· Process Improvement
Experience
· At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
Education
· Bachelor Degree Computer Engineering/ MSc Degree
